The Training Coordinator will be part of a team that trains, supervises, and engages crisis counseling volunteers. The Coordinator will be responsible for evaluations of counselors, providing ongoing supervision and feedback, and training 30-45 volunteers a year. Additionally, the Coordinator will work with staff to gather data on call frequency, time, and demographics and will train and evaluate volunteers on collecting data. The Coordinator will also travel approximately 25% of the time training community members on Suicide Intervention and Prevention throughout the state.

Salary Range: $35,000 - 40,000

Job Duties will include:

-          Implement Headquarters Counseling Center training program for additional training sessions

-          Train and supervise volunteer crisis counselors and call specialists

-          Provide evaluation and ongoing feedback to all counselors

-          Engage in onsite phone counseling, as needed for quality improvement and coverage

-          Monitor and evaluate call logs and provide feedback on logs

-          Provide ongoing training for counselors at all levels

-          Oversee and ensure Lifeline/state expectations as outlined in the grant are met

-          Oversee data/metrics collection and evaluation

-          Liaise with State to collaborate and report grant progress

-          Other duties as assigned



-          Master’s degree or equivalent degree

-          Relevant crisis counseling experience

-          Relevant training experience

-          ASIST Certified

-          Relevant suicide prevention/intervention experience

-          Experience using iCarol

Preferred Qualifications:

-          Management experience

-          Data Collection/ Analytics Experience
